FL Apparatus Flips on Side as Firefighters Head to Call

Bonita Springs Fire Control & Rescue District firefighters were on their way to the scene of a kitchen fire when their apparatus rolled over after taking a sharp turn.

A Florida fire apparatus rolled over on its side during a turn while responding to a call Wednesday.

Bonita Springs Fire Control & Rescue District firefighters were on their way to a fire that had broken out in a home's kitchen when the accident happened, WINK-TV reports. As the apparatus took a sharp turn, it flipped over and crashed into a wooded area near the road.

No firefighters were injured in the incident. Crews still were able to respond to the initial call, which was down to road from the accident.
